August-2010

In August 2010, SJP will hold its 5th Annual Hero’s Camp with the second City-Wide Little League Tournament Championship Play-Off Game®.  The Urban Aces and their many supporters are doing a great job of assisting us and will help Cleveland become the Premier Host City.  With the encouragement and support we have received from Former Negro League Baseball Players, Major League Baseball players and other Athletes we are sure that this event will provide opportunities to engage more leagues to participate in the Tournament.

Our plan is to start with teams of 12 and under grouped {8-10 yrs old} and {11-12 yrs old} in a day long tournament that includes:

- Single elimination games at Gordon Park,

- Food and supplements, Placement trophies, and Ribbons

- (PAST) - Former Negro League Baseball Player exposure with an educational and historical view of the Past,

- (PRESENT) - Current Major League Baseball Player will throw out the first pitch,

- (FUTURE) - Photos to make your own baseball cards with stats and tickets to Triple Play Sports batting cages

SJP promotes the common good and general welfare of the community by connecting veterans; and members of the US Armed Forces to disenfranchised youth in need of development.  (A copy of Certificate of Incorporation is filed with the State of Ohio). At this point, there is still much required.  Without your sponsorship it will cost each child approximately $125.00 to participate.

Surpassing last year’s league participation is our goal. With your help and support we know this will happen.

Sincerely,

Survivor Justification Partners, Inc.
